In the collision between tradition and modernity,Hong Kong has formed a unique cultural system.Among them,Cantonese pop songs with distinctive characteristics have been the trend of music in the history of pop music.Cantonese pop songs as a microcosm of Hong Kong culture,whether in song creation,communication techniques or visual expression,reflects the regional culture,survival experience and the blending of Chinese and Western cultures.In the past,many artists and scientists have studied the relationship between hearing and vision from different angles.Music in music has touched the sense of hearing and sense,visual art has aroused the sense of vision,and has played a role in different ways.Visual art and music have a regular pattern of artistic creation.In the course of music transmission,visual art brings an independent and intuitive aesthetic experience.In an age of gradual disappearance of cultural differences,we need to communicate musical styles,increase the mode of communication and enhance the efficiency of communication through visual design.This paper starts from the theoretical basis and practical application,in the understanding of the relation of audio and Cantonese pop songs origin and development after an attempt by the perspective of visual communication design,typical case analysis,find the experience of successful development in Cantonese pop music in the study of visual communication design for Cantonese pop songs to promote the significance from four aspects of composition light,color,and element extraction,and to seek the dissemination and development of road China contemporary popular music through the research and the successful development of Cantonese pop songs to the visual communication design inspiration.
