Liu Shaotang In Literature In The 1980s

Since the new century,driven by Professor Cheng Guangwei and other scholars,there has been a literature research boom of "return to the 1980s" in academic circles.Some "case studies" in 1980 s literature also show the vitality and great space of the study.Liu Shaotang(1936—1997)was a famous "child prodigy writer" in 1950 s,whose literary achievements and literary history orientation both formed in 1980 s.This paper will consciously draw lessons from the fruitful achievements of literary research in 1980 s.Through reading and examining Liu Shaotang’s literary works,theoretical achievements,local dilemma,creative changes and literary appeals in1980 s,the following problems are mainly considered and explored: why Liu Shaotang jumped up and fell in the literary wave in 1980 s,who was finally attributed to the silence of the 1980 s,come to "local literature" and why it caused controversy;Why did Liu Shaotang’s local literature come into trouble and explore the way out,and where was the alienation between Liu Shaotang and 1980 s literature? In the literary research paradigm of "return to the 1980s",the author reorganized and pondered the relationship between Liu Shaotang and 80 s literature.This paper attempts to reflect on the literary space that a writer may extend in a specific period,and then presents the side of literature being obscured in the narrative of the existing literary history in1980 s,and probes into it.In 1980 s literature contained some unrealized possibilities.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter introduces the origin of the topic,the current research situation and the research strategy based on the literature study of "return to 1980s".In the first chapter,the novella "Puliu Family",which laid the tone of Liu Shaotang’s writing in 1980 s,enters into the text interpretation from the literary theory thought of Liu Shaotang,and rediscover the rich implication of "the Puliu Family".To discover its problems and to find out the significance of this novel to the writer’s creation and life from the winning prize of PuLiu Family.The second chapter mainly analyzes Liu Shaotang’s efforts and controversy in creating the local literature school.Firstly,the author combs the theory of local literature in the early period of 1980 s,and explores the four sources of the formation of the theory.By analyzing the controversy caused by Liu Shaotang’s theory of local literature,the author’s attitude and self-consciousness are revealed.Chapter 3th mainly discusses Liu Shaotang’s adherence to and exploration in thelocal predicament.He insists on perfecting his theory of local literature and instructs his literary creation.At the same time,he carries out internal adjustments and two literary changes.But the results are not obvious.The conclusion of chapter 4th summarizes the three reasons why Liu Shaotang’s literary ideal was alienated from the literature of 80 s.Therefore,the appearance of Liu Shaotang in 80 s literature has become clear.
