Generally speaking, there are three great upsurges in the history of contemporary literary journals, which have basically laid the overall pattern of the development of contemporary literary journals. The third founding(resuming)tide lasted from the early 1980 s to the mid 1980 s.On the one hand,it experienced the cultural desert of "Cultural Revolution",and people had a strong desire to enrich the spiritual world;on the other hand, literature and politics entered a new honeymoon period, and the prosperity of literature and art also promoted the political "putting things out of order".It is worth noting that many large-scale literary journals such as Zhongshan,Shiyue,Shouhuo and Dangdai have greatly promoted the prosperity and development of literature in the new era.China, the research object of this paper,is a comprehensive large-scale literary journal founded in this period. However,China has a very different fate from other large literary journals. As a universal and special individual,China has become an important perspective to examine the literature scene in the 1980 s.This paper takes China as the object of study, and studies it from four aspects.First of all, based on a large number of literature, this paper combs the specific historical facts of China from its founding to its suspension, analyzes the internal and external factors in the development of the journal, and focuses on the relationship between the suspension of China and the literary scene in the 1980 s,such as personnel disputes, power changes, institutional shackles, etc.Secondly, explore the character of journal and the influence of editor in chief.Ding Ling, the editor in chief of China, has its own complexity and polysemy, which are inextricably related to the fate of China. Therefore, this part studies China from the perspective of "Ding Ling in her later years",and the two have the significance of mutual interpretation.Thirdly,as a literary journal, the specific works published in China cannot be excluded from research, which is not only an internal research based on literature itself, but also includes external research, such as how to regulate literary production in the form of consciousness, how to get rid of ideological shackles in literature, how to plan literature in literary journals, and the interaction between authors, editors and readers, etc That is,starting from specific articles,to investigate the turning point and transition period of literature development in the mid-1980 s,the choice and attempt of a national literary journal,so as to have a deep understanding of the literature ecology in the mid-1980 s.The last part combs the overalljournal environment and its impact on the development of journals in 1980 s from a macro perspective, and the Countermeasures of other large-scale journals in this environment, and then reviews the "change" and "unchanged" of China, and understands the unique significance of China and the experience and enlightenment it brings.
