Social interaction and communication skills deficit is one of the three main features of Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD),into which considerable researches have been devoted into its causes and features. However, domestically rather less attention has been paid to dialogic resonance and intersubjective engagement study between autistic children and others, let alone multimodal interaction analysis of their face-to-face communication.Based on four months' observation and recording data of an autitstic child with high functioning ASD,we build Multimodal Dialogic Resonance Model(MDR Model)integrated from the multimodal interaction analysis framework and dialogic resonance in Dialogic Syntax in order to offer a new standard with verbal dialogic resonance and non-verbal dialogic resonance(including eye gaze resonance, posture resonance, gesture resonance, head movement, proxemics, writing, music and layout, etc.)combined for revaluing communication deficit of autistic individuals and to locate their detailing weak points and strengths in communication, trying at last to make personal teaching suggestion for each autistic child. This study is an attempt in doing multimodal interaction analysis and dialogic syntax study together, which is also a futher exploration in Intersubjectivity study aiming at providing some useful suggestions for future autsitc education.Research findings are as follows:1.To judge one's communication ability we need to consider and analyze both linguistic performance and multimodal ones, which is very prominent for autistic people.2.Intersubjectivity is realized through multimodal dialogic resonance. In order to help improve communication ability of autistic children, teachers need to observe and utilize children's unique information tunnel in a clever way and create more multimodal dialogic resonance for an effective language learning environment.3.Multimodal dialogic construction could be considered as a basic unit of multimodal interaction study in future studies.
