"Not X,(and)is Y" is one of the structures commonly used in modern Chinese.Using the negation theory of the meta-language,we divide the negation of the structure expression into true-value negation and pseudo-negation and based on the criteria of presence and absence of markers.Distinguish between two negatives which are marked and which are unmarked. In addition,we also learn from the constructional grammar theory, saying that "not X,(and)is Y" is a construction negative, and analyzes its components and development process, summing up its structural meaning. At the same time, the pragmatic function of this construction was also examined. This article is divided into five parts. In the first chapter, the research object that defines this article is to express pseudonegative “not X,but rather Y”.This paper introduces the research status of the theories used in this research, the main research methods and the source of corpus of the use cases. The second chapter uses the mark theory to introduce the form of "not X,(Yes)is Y",which means there are marked negation and no mark negation. And use the markfree criteria to show that when "is not X,(and)is Y" indicates a false negative is a marked negation. The third chapter uses the construction grammar theory to define when "is not X,(and)is Y" is just a sentence, analyzes the components of the construction, and focuses on the analysis of the variables X and Y,the construction of the inductive structure. The fourth chapter analyzes the formation and development of "not X,(and yes)Y" as a construction, and explains "not X,(but)Y" from the anti-expectation nature and anti-expect model. The anti-expectation function,at the same time briefly introduced its ultra-predicted nature. The fifth chapter summarizes the full text and points out the deficiencies in the research.
