This thesis is an attempt to apply formative assessment to one-on-one teaching of Chinese as a second language.In recent years,the market size of Chinese language teaching has been continuously expanded,and Chinese training institutions have been on the increase.However,the school running levels are uneven.It is difficult to guarantee the continuity and effectiveness of teaching due to the differences in the education backgrounds of one-on-one teachers and the relatively large mobility of teachers and students.Formative assessment is an assessment method that can pinpoint problems in teaching timely and then provide feedback for adjustment.At the same time,this method can also effectively stimulate and maintain learners' motivations to learn,demonstrate students' learning processes,improve students' senses of self-efficacy and enhance teachers' professional ability.This paper investigates and analyzes the needs of formative assessment from the perspectives of teachers,students and the society,and then carries out experiments of the utilization of one-to-one formative assessment,and establishes a framework of one-on-one formative assessment utilization for reference according to the experimental process and its results.
