“Zuo Zhuan”(The Spring and Autumn Annals)is a full and accurate historical essay to record historical events and characters in the pre-qin period.The record of the history and the brushwork of sublime word's with deep meaning in this book is not only deeply influenced the historical biography literature,but also influences the Cultural inheritance of the chinese nation's,because it can reflect the social presence and the style of characters in the Spring and Autumn period.In this paper,it takes the traditional virtues of women of “Zuo Zhuan” as the research object.On the results of previous studies,the article analyse the sentimental fate of the spring and Autumn period women under the patriarchal clan system of rites and music from cultural and historical point of view in order to explore the clue of thought behind their behaviors and to discover their true face.The research on women's life in the Spring and Autumn period can develop the research contents of women of “Zuo Zhuan ”.It can also provide certain historical experience for the contemporay women by probing the obligation and responsibility of female in that time under the ritual system.This research can provide a reference for contemporary women by review the splendid civilization and inheritance of traditions.It leads the modern female to seek the rights and freedom meanwhile it encourages women to improve themselves through the social morality.This paper has five parts,including of introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction expounds the purpose of this thesis.Its purpose is to let us out of the Western radical ideas that betray the tradition and reflection on traditional culture.Its significance is to provide excellent historical reference for today's us.The first chapter is divided into three sections to discuss starting from the social background of women's life.The first aspect is to discuss the ethical consciousness on that time.The second is to discuss the definition of women's identity in that society.The last aspect is to discuss the attitudes of men and women to the change of women's conventions due to the change of political environment that lords melee Era in the Spring and Autumn period.The second chapter is divided into five sections to analyzes everykind of women of “Zuo Zhuan”.The first section discusses the female who has the quality of respection and obedience and the beautiful and gentle disposition.The second section discusses the female who filial parents and patriotic loyalty.The third section discusses the virtuous female who maintain family carefully.The fourth section discusses the female who still able to use their own intelligence and flexibility to affect fate or politics although in a weak position.The fifth section discusses a woman who makes a choice of right or wrong,even if she konws that she is under the control of male discourse.From the choice and the reflection when these women in the face of their lives,the chapter analysis of their inner ideas and pursuits.The three chapter analyzes the influence of the later generation's moral aesthetic by the women of “Zuo Zhuan”.Especially it analyzes some important aesthetic standard that woman should be make a harmonious and orderly home,meanwile should be filial and patriotic.The influence on the later literary image is analyzed from the perspective of the Spring and Autumn period of Meng Jiangnv's stories and some literary images.The education of women in later generations is discussed from the aspects of virtue,discourse,deportment and life skills education.The conclusion summarizes the purpose of the theis.Under the limited constraints of Zhou rites,the women in the Spring and Autumn period showed their strong pulse of life with their unique charm.It is proved that they are not a group of people who are deeply buried in the bottom of the earth,and they are the creators of history with their limited life space.
