Atwood was called the queen of Canadian literature,who is a famous novelist,poet and essayist in contemporary Canada.Her vast world-renowned was related to her rich connotation,diligent and prolific works.And her works have been nominated for the Nobel prize,the British Booker Prize,Canadian Governor General's award,the Commonwealth literary award,Harvard University Centennial medal,"the Sydney times" outstanding literary award,the French government literary arts medal and many other awards capsule into the arms of British and American literature.It is worth mentioning that the ethnic female writer is still writing better,so far she has published 14 books of poetry,13 novels,5 short stories,and 3 books of literary criticism.The Narrative literature of Feminist is a new subject that began in 1980 s,it draws on classical Narrative literature,feminist studies and other analysis tools.And she used gender as a starting point to study the narrative text,trying to find all kinds of narrative strategies,narrative form,and narrative grammar,which was related or determined by gender.It studies the relationship between gender and narrative,and analyzes the possible effects of gender on narrative forms in specific cultural and historical contexts.The thesis mainly uses the methods of feminist narrative,taking six novels as examples: "The Edible Woman","Expression","The Handmaid's Tale","Alias Grace".Furthermore,the thesis analyzes the image of the characters,plot pattern and narrative perspective,narrative voice and other aspects of analysis to explain Atwood's pursuit of female discourse from two aspects of the story level and the discourse level.The first chapter mainly introduces the process of development and research strategy of feminist Narrative,as well as the female consciousness and influence factors of Margaret Atwood.The second chapter mainly analyzes the plot mode and the female image of Atwood's novels.The female images in Atwood's novels with distinctive female consciousness,gender awareness with the sense of "alien",many of them are soliloquists and the "alien" in the crowd.But they also have the subjectivity,also they understand their pursuit,and know how to reject what they do not need.The manifestation of the return of women's subjective consciousness.The plot structure mode of Atwood's novels is relatively stable,that is women awakening from the sinking life,starting chasing themselves and constructing their authority.The third chapter starts from the narrative perspective to analyze the objective world of women in Atwood's novels.The novels of Atwood often takes the first person narrative perspective of heroine or the third person omniscient narrative mode in order to show the world in their perspective and highlighting the subject position of female narrative.The fourth chapter of this paper will start with narrative voice,and explore the construction of female authority in Atwood's novels by Atwood's personal narrative voice,author's narrative voice and collective voice.In any case,Atwood has an indispensable position in the history of Western female literature.
