The Research Of Nicknames In Mongolia

Nickname is both a linguistic and cultural phenomenon.It is the way of a person's special appellation.The study of nicknames has a great significance to the understanding of Mongolian customs,culture and language application.This thesis mainly studies the nicknames selected from novel and novella by statistical method,classified method and analysis method,At the same time,the cultural phenomenon of some nicknames is analyzed and studied from the aspect of cultural linguistics.This thesis consists of introduction,chapter one,Chapter two,chapter three,conclusion,reference,appendix,etc.The introduction part mainly introduces the reason and significance of the topic,the general situation of the research,the research method and the material source.Chapter one discusses the concept of nicknames,their application and the difference between nicknames and names.The second chapter discusses the structural and naming characteristics of nicknames.The third chapter discusses the role of nicknames and analyzes the cultural phenomena involved in certain nicknames in cultural linguistics.In the conclusion part,there is a brief summary of the study.The main bibliography,theses and thesaurus are listed in the bibliography section.Attachment is the collected nickname index.
