Development Research Of Traditional Books Design Under The Background Of Electronic Media Era

With the constant progress of science and technology,paper books as a traditional information carrier,which facing the challenge brought by the development of electronic media.In this paper,the research object is design and development of traditional books under the background of electronic era.Through the analysis of the characteristics of electronic media and the influence of book design,I try to find the development direction of modern paper books and present strategies from the perspective of public demand,so as to promote the development of traditional books design.This paper holds that traditional books should fully excavate their own characteristic.On the aspect of external form,books design involves the use of modern technology and material to express the five feeling experience.At the same time,the designer also should set up the overall concept,design books with the three-dimensional perspective,to make a book which conveying connotation and wholly unified with change.On the aspect of inner structure,designer should analysis the optimization of layout design from the perspective of information composition,making things contacted and building information hierarchical order,or refactoring overall dimensions,to present the internal logic relations vividly and give book the sense of space and functionality.In addition,the other way of making book developed is combining with new functions such as physical function,interactive function and system function.The physical function can realized by design and science technology,the system function depends on information design,while the interactive function can realized by integrating with Internet technology.These measures can make paper books break traditional bondage and expound new concept.In conclusion,this paper tries to research book design from the aspects such as appearance,layout and function,so as to improve the problems and disadvantages exposed in the current market,providing some suggestions for modern book design.Looking ahead,Paper books will continue changing,so this paper summarizes the future development trend of paper books with the development view,which include four features of spreading lighter,anti-popularization,information visualizing and traditional elements modernization.Book designers should keep pace in the changing times,fully excavating the charm of paper media to meet the various needs of modern people,promoting the development of paper books art under the impact of electronic media and making them present a new face.
