Research On The Combination Of Picture Books And Stereoscopic Books

The phrase of “ picture book” stems from Japan and it referrers to the story book which is mainly based on pictures.It is a popular culture and is regarded by many people,especially teenagers,as the main media to understand the society,culture and economy which are developing rapidly today.The stereoscopic book is one kind of children’s literature publications.It can stimulate children’s reading interest and intelligence through the three-dimensional flip and the participation,so as to educate children at an early age.In this paper,a systematic research on the combination of picture books and stereoscopic books is carried out by the methods of searching documents and analyzing the making process of picture books and stereoscopic books.This paper tries to make a perfect combination between picture books and stereoscopic books by carrying out an analytical research and creative practice,so as to make a better integration of artistry,appreciation and education.The paper takes the Chinese traditional myths and fables as an opportunity and chooses one story that can deeply reflect the tough and unyielding national spirit of Chinese people.With the combination of Chinese and Western painting language and skills,the paper carries out a creative research to fully show the scene nature,stereoscopic nature,visibility and participation of the story in the three-dimensional platform.Through the practical study of the picture books and the expression form of the combination,the teenagers and even the adults can like such stereoscopic picture books more.
