The Application Study Of The Tang Dynasty Baoxiang Flower Pattern On Visual Image Design

Baoxiang flower pattern is one of the classic patterns in our country,which was introduced into China by Buddhism in the eastern Han dynasty and popular in the Tang dynasty.Furthermore,the Baoxiang flower pattern with round and full shape is consisted of the various flower patterns,such as “lotus” “peony” and so on,the various flower patterns with nice allegory also symbolize the prosperity and auspiciousness.In this paper,we study development history,development stage,structural features,and shape changes of the tang dynasty treasure pattern based on its visual image design application,via the mothed of literature research and case analysis.Next,the applications model and presented patterns of the flower pattern in different carriers were analyzed.Then,we integrated the Baoxiang flower pattern into the modern visual image design to make the traditional patterns with great integration and innovation in modern design area.In the process of combining application,through the analysis of original modeling,structure,color and other aspects of the flower pattern,and the extract of its elements.Finally,a series of derivative products were designed and manufactured.In this way,the value of the flower pattern can be reflected.Through the combination of theory and practice,this paper hopes to play a certain role in the inheritance and development of the flower pattern.
