Liszt—the great romantic master—is a famous musician,pianist and conductor.He contributed to the piano history in Europe and the world,and his achievements and influence are almost unmatched.Liszt pioneered the memorization method.His works are hard and rich in content,the use of harmony is brought to the extreme,brilliant performances are comparable to orchestras and symphonies.He draws on the best of his talents and his creations are very are extensive,especially like to make adaptations based on the works of other musicians.Of the 1,300 works he created throughout his life,there were more than 900 piano transcriptions.Adapted from the operas of the composers such as Mozart,Verdi,Bellini,etc,it not only retains the ideological connotation of the original work,but also imports Liszt's unique piano vocabulary,which makes the work show attractive charm.This article uses Liszt's piano transcription “Reminiscences de Norma” which adapted from Bellini's opera “Norma” as a research object,combining the overall profile of Liszt himself and his piano transcriptions' style,starting from the creative features and playing techniques of the works,specifically expounding the rich rhythmic forms,brilliant technical skills,and the use of various musical languages,combining personal performance experience,detailed analysis of octave and chords,arpeggios,skipping,decorative sounds,two-tone,32-note fast running and pedal playing skills.It is hoped that through the discussion of this article,the performer will be able to provide help and reference in understanding Liszt's creative style and accurately grasping the connotation of the work.
