A Study On Moral Reconstruction Measures In Rural Weddings And Funerals

As the traditional folk customs in China,weddings and funerals have been the most important events of our life from ancient to modern times.At present,high bride-price bills and human consumption let the people complain incessantly.This unhealthy atmosphere has brought a deep sense of helpless to the masses of villagers.And it has become a stumbling block in the implementation of 'Strategy of Rural Revitalization' in China.To standardize weddings and funerals in rural areas and purify social atmosphere is in line with the deep expectations of rural residents.It is a realistic issue that needs to be solved in the process of socialist construction in the new period.The purpose of this paper is to solve the social disharmony caused by moral deviations in Shanxi rural weddings and funerals,and to enhance farmers' sense of well-being and acquisition.On the one hand,the socialist morality is the beautiful fruit of the magical land in China that drew the sunshine and rain of traditional Chinese moral excellence.Faced with the diversification of moral values during the period of social transformation,the fierce impact of western trends of thought in the process of globalization,the erosion of capitalist morality under market economy,and the socialist core value system can adapt to the socialist market economy and defend the dominant position of socialist morality.Resisting unhealthy customs will help the public develop and practice socialist ethics.On the other hand,Chinese traditional culture contains deep moral values.The internal harmonious moral ideas of mutual help,solidarity and fraternity in weddings and funerals can form a joint force with the values of socialist core values,and to implement the socialist collective principles and build a harmonious society.Its moral shaping function can regulate the moral behavior of the villagers and promote rural cohesiveness.It is a barometer of the morality of the country,and can be used to construct and improve the socialist moral code.The author tries to make the construction of morality in weddings and funerals as an opportunity to implement socialist morality,let the socialist core values be integrated into the farmers' daily life.And curbing bad customs and establish public order and good customs.First,the author selected a typical township in Southern Shanxi as the scope of investigation,and used survey questionnaires,interviews,and field observations to understand the social phenomena associated with China' s socialist morality in the folk customs of weddings and funerals in rural areas.For example,high bride-price bills,the buying and selling of marriage is normalized,human consumption has been rising year by year,comparisons and wastes have become fashion,and the winds of feudal superstition have existed for a long time.Individualism and money worship have corrupted the social value of traditional folk customs.It deeply reflects that the distortion of the peasants' morality and values in our country at present.Second,in the perspective of Marxist moral outlook,from the political,economic and cultural aspects to analyze the causes of moral dilemma.Finally,moral education is the proper meaning of ideological and political education.The author starting from the four aspects of rural grassroots organizations,system construction,propaganda and education,and optimization of the moral environment,to seek some effective strategies for moral reconstruction in weddings and funerals.
