With the economic growth and national prosperity, various countries all over the world pay more and more attention to the military power. In recent years, it has been improved for the strength of the armored forces of our country. However, along with the development of the forces, the great energy consumption and serious environmental pollution must be focused on. Meanwhile, the diversity of the tanks brings the pilots much trouble, especially the routine training. Thus, it is one of the research hotspots for improving the training of the tank pilots.For the issues above, this topic introduced the virtual reality into the training of tank pilots through the detailed software design and logic function design for the real environment and tank console. Firstly, the characteristics and the key techniques of OGRE are introduced in the thesis. Then this topic carefully simulates the real environment and tanks by OGRE. Then, for the logic function, two common guidance methods were designed and simulated to improve the authenticity of the simulation training.At the beginning of the thesis, the origin and characters of OGRE are described in detail. Then, we analyzed the reason why we choose OGRE as the tool. We also explain some principles such as terrain system, sky effect, animation, particle system and so on. Then the implementation rationale of the 3d scene is presented. At the latter half of the thesis, the realization process and application principles of the logic function are explained in detail. By extension of the thesis, the virtual reality can be used in all kinds of trainings.
