Household register discrimination is a big problem of dual labor market in China, and affects the employment of the enterprise. The academia also attaches great importance to the study of this problem, but the existing research is narrow, the method is not appropriate and the data is old.Hence, with the help of large-scale international cooperative projects, the thesis employs the latest enterprise survey data from 2013 to 2014, applies the Blinder-Oaxaca decomposition method for linear and nonlinear regression model respectively to conduct empirical researches on differences of labor contract and labor remuneration (i.e. wages and non-wage compensation) between urban and rural enterprise employees of the urban labor market. Also, how great the household registration discrimination is studied. Conclusions can be drawn as follows. Firstly, there is still a remarkable difference of labor contract signing and labor remuneration obtainment between migrant workers and urban workers on the urban labor market of the nation. The labor relations of migrant workers'employment in the market is not optimistic either. Secondly, migrant workers suffer from greater household registration discrimination in labor contract and remuneration. Household registration discrimination in labor contract reaches nearly 40%, discrimination in monthly wages and hourly wages reaches 22.38% and 28.38% respectively. The extent of household registration discrimination will be underestimated if not consider the working hours. The extent of household registration discrimination in social insurance payments can be divided into employment injury insurance, medical insurance, pension insurance, unemployment insurance, maternity insurance and housing fund in an ascending order. Thus, the extents are 7.62%,7.99%,9.07%,13.06%,26.94% and 40.98% respectively. The more primary the social insurance is, the less it is being affected by the household registration discrimination. That's to say, the actual household registration discrimination that migrant workers suffer will be underestimated by merely paying attention to the wage difference. Thirdly, in spite of the serious household registration discrimination, difference of labor contract and remuneration between urban and rural labor force is attributed to their individual characteristics. The research expanded the study area of China's household registration discrimination, and supplemented China's household registration discrimination theory. Meanwhile, the research pointed out the direction for correctly recognizing and eliminating of household registration discrimination. The country should reform the household registration system to create conditions for equal employment. The enterprise should implement the "equal pay for equal work" to different household workers, and migrant workers should also strengthen their education and training for improving human capital quality.
