Dahl is one of the most prominent democratic thinkers of the twentieth Century,the pluralist democracy theory has a great impact in the political field,the main point is the "restriction of power by society","the multiple minority rule".In the United States,there is a variety of opinions,interests and power pluralism pluralistic society characteristics,With the wave of democratization in twentieth Century 60,70 years,Dahl on Madison's democratic and populist Democratic Criticism,combined with the essence of the elite democracy theory of pluralist democracy.Based on the theory of pluralist democracy pluralistic society has polyarchy,in different sectors of the society,as the dominant leader,ruled by representatives of different interest groups,to restrict the power of society,a large number of social groups and organizations to achieve multiple minority rule,Dahl called the social and organizational pluralism.But in actual practice,there is a contradiction between autonomy and government control,Dahl in the pluralist democracy dilemma and puts forward corresponding solutions,and modified by the economic theory of democracy,citizens can participate in democracy in the economic organization,in order to achieve multiple organizational autonomy and control balance.Equal emphasis on political pluralism and democracy theory of Dahl,the political resources and understanding of multiple interpretations have great research value,this is the Dahl theory of pluralist democracy once again review and.A promising theory system,along with the progress of the times,social change,a new interpretation of the will,in the face of the complicated democracy,hoping to get to the reality of social democratic practice new inspiration in Dahl's study.
