At present, among all the studies in crime of corruption in China, qualitative study has been done quite a lot while quantitative study little, the empirical study about the corruption sentencing even less. As a measurement of penalty aimed at punishment in a direct way for the justice of judgment, the study of the corruption is of great and practical significance for the justice of judgment. However, the study should base on the trial actual situation that we must stick to the empirical study by integrating and analyzing the verdicts of corruptions before a conclusion about the relationship between bribery amounts and sentence was drawn. On the basis of 430 verdicts of corruptions from 2006 to 2015 in “pkulaw.cn”, I analyze the data through system analysis and comparative analysis, then draw related statistical charts and comparison charts to find the rule of sentencing and analyze its trend and why it changes. I hope my work could serve as the scientific evidence for the sentencing of corruption in the future for our courts and procuratorates.
