The Communist Party of India (Maoist) is an underground party which believes in Maoist and aims at overthrowing the India government.Under the influence of ideologies from international Communism movement, the Indian Maoist has gone through continuous conflicts and reorganization and finally given itself a unified form in 2004, acting as one of the most influential Communist parties in India. The Maoist consistently insists on seizing power by way of violent revolution and armed struggle, instead of discussing issues through peaceful assembly. In terms of the theoretical background, the Maoist has an independent constitution and guiding principles; also, as for the policies proposed, it comes up with guidelines involved in political, economic and social fields, and plans associated with unified front work and diplomacy. There have been profound effects brought by the Maoist movement upon the Indian political situation. On one hand, the Maoist obtains a certain amount of political power through violence and arms, which influences the national development and international image. On the other hand, the rise of the Maoist plays a role in its interaction with the Capitalist and other fractions of the Communist. In fact, the Capitalist as well as the other Communist fractions has implemented different strategies accordingly. In the long term, with the enlargement of the active areas and increase of violent fights by the Maoist, the conflict between the Maoist and the government will become increasingly severe, accelerated by the measures taken by the India government against the Maoist. It seems reasonable that the future development of India and the overall situation in South Asia will also receive influence to different degrees. The thesis consists of four parts:the introduction, main body, conclusion and references. Introduction explains the reasons and significance of selecting this topic, the current situation at home and abroad and the research methods. The main body is divided into four. Section 1 describes the Maoist and how it is born and conducts an analysis mainly from the national and international political situations, the significant regional events as well as the practical conditions domestically. Section 2 illustrates the emergence and development of the Maoist, dating back to the Telengana Peasant's Uprising conducted by the Communist in 1946. After the Communist split up, the fraction leading the Naxalite movement became the origin of the organization. Later on, the organization was integrated and finally demonstrated itself, named the Communist Party of India (the Maoist) in 2014. Section 3 introduces the guidelines and policies of the Maoist with a deep look at its theories, politics, economics, unified front work and diplomacy. In this section, the reasons behind and drawbacks will also be analyzed. Section 3 is the most important part for the main body. Section 4 deals with the influence of the Maoist upon the Indian political situations. The Maoist's communication with the Capitalist and other Communism fractions is investigated and its impact on the future development of India is stated. The Conclusion points out that the development of the Maoist is deeply rooted in the political and economic situations in India. Its very existence and expansion results from historical and practical sources and indeed, impresses the South Asia.
