A Study Of Issues Of Protecting Rights & Interests Of Urban Minorities

With the rapid development of market economy in our country, the connection between the various nationalities in China is becoming increasingly close. Urban minority population has been increasing. Added a new color for the city, the urban minorities contributed their own strength. But in terms of rights and interests protection problems are also more and more prominent, especially in scattered and mixed ethnic minority city. Taking Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province as an example, this paper is mainly divided into six parts to analyze the status and problems of the urban minority rights protection.Firstly, it briefly introduces the background, significance, the research status and its methods. Chapter ? research on cities scattered mixed minority rights problems, which mainly discusses the concept of urban ethnic minority problems and related legal basis. Chapter ?:the general introduction of Jingdezhen city, Jiangxi Province and the national minority, which mainly from the City's location, municipal administrative division, the natural scenery and ethnic population composition. Chapter ?:the present situation of the minority rights in Jingdezhen city, Jiangxi province. This chapter mainly introduces the characteristics, issues of urban minority rights protection problems and work achievements the City has gained on those problems. Chapter IV:the problems, strategies and suggestions on urban minority rights protection problems of Jingdezhen city. This chapter focuses on the employment labor rights, social security rights and interests, customs, religious beliefs, right to education and other specific problems and put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions. Chapter V:reflections on the lack of protection of minority interests. This chapter mainly analyzes the reason why the urban minority rights protection problems came into exist in Jingdezhen city, advice about the problems of minority's rights and interests. This part mainly aims at the reflections on the fifth chapter, and put forward the corresponding suggestions.
