Intellectual Property Protection Of Graphical User Interface

In recent years, China's electronic information industry has developed rapidly, all kinds of electronic products have penetrated into the daily life of ordinary people, which our market competition of Graphical User Interface(GUI) is more intense, the infringement of GUI often occur. Therefore, the government and company become more and more concerned for intellectual property protection of GUI. Firstly, it introduces the definition of GUI, and then it has a classification of GUI from the perspective of development of Network Era and consumer's front-end experience. Secondly, it sorts and summarizes the intellectual property protection of external GUI, and we should learn from the advanced experience of foreign developed countries in GUI design protection aspects,and then transplant to China. And then it introduces the intellectual property protection status of internal GUI. Under the background which our country protects the product containing a GUI design, with actual case, it analyzes the problems of copyright law,trademark law and anti-unfair law protection of GUI in recent years, at the same time, it introduces the object range and application strategy of GUI design protection, then evaluates the effect of its implementation. In the end, it presents some institutional suggestions from the perspective of promoting the healthy development of domestic electronic industry and improving relevant laws and regulations in the future.
