Mission Reliability Modeling Method For Equipment System Of Systems Based On Multi-viewpoint

The ultimate design target of Equipment System of systems(ESoS) is to fulfill scheduled tasks. The probability that how well the ESoS may fulfill the tasks is evaluated by reliability indices. The mission reliability of ESoS is the ability that ESoS fulfill the tasks under specified task section. ESoS is characterized by enormous scale, complicated structure, various task execution and task logic, and it is quite hard to model the mission reliability of ESoS. To solve such problems, the thesis proposes Reliability Viewpoint to model the mission reliability of ESoS.The main research content and innovations are as follows:(1) Based on the ESoS, the thesis researches on the intension and modeling requirement of ESoS. Then the concept of ESoS mission reliability is concluded, and its influential factors and information demand when modeled has been analyzed, to lay the root for the Reliability Viewpoint.(2) The thesis analyzes the viewpoints and their product models of DoDAF 2.0, pointing out its redundancy and inconvenience in reliability modeling. On the basis of previous DoDAF-ROD model, seven product models are extracted and expanded to make up Reliability Viewpoint. Then the development process based on the Reliability Viewpoint is formulated.(3) Under the development process of Reliability Viewpoint, the thesis describes concrete details of the 7 product models using UML. Each model element of all product models have been abstracted and described in general, and the data structure has been defined as well. Design the mapping relation that EOOPN extracted data fron reliabiliry viewpoint, so the reliability viewpoint products can be switched to XML document EOOPN requires.(4) Establish simplified example of air-defense and anti-missile system of systems, to verify the effectiveness of description function of the proposed Reliability Viewpoint.
