Marx and Engels'relevant works about the women-related theory have been well known in the academic world through the ages. However, while carefully studying the precious spiritual wealth left by the great thinkers to later generations, we still cannot ignore the guiding significance of their practice, which is also Marx and Engels'earnest expectation for theoretical researches in later ages. Based on relevant literature about women-related theory put forward by Marx and Engels, the paper combines various views, prejudices and timeworn ideas about women currently existing in China to conduct a theoretical study with research methods like historical analysis, comparative study etc.First of all, starting from the historical background of Marx, the paper explores the historical origin of his view on women both theoretically and practically, trying to find a stimulative based on the background of the times; secondly, the paper sorts out Marx and Engels'relevant literature about women-related theory per the chronological order, grasps the process of their ideas and analyzes the main contents about their viewpoints on women with The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State as the principal line; thirdly, focusing on the value of Marx and Engels'women-related theory on the Chinese and western society, the paper makes a profound analysis of different effects caused by this theory under two social structures from the theoretical and practical perspectives; in the end, based on the current national conditions in China, the paper probes into the path to successfully carry out woman's liberation cause in the new age from the economic, political, educational and social angles. Most important of all, we are supposed to carry forward rational and positive public opinions based on the practical reality in the current information era, which is also a special requirement raised by the current Chinese society to "make a contribution" to woman's course in China.
