The Research Of Modern Women's Group In Shandong Province(1919-1945)

The development of women's groups in Shandong during the period of 1919-1945 was divided into two stages with the outbreak of full-scale Anti-Japanese War.the salvation exploration of Modern China national crisis trigger the rise of them.The introduction of western thoughts,the development of women's education and the storm of the 1911 Revolution gave birth to the women's groups in Shandong.the May 4th Procession of 1919 and the subsequent patriotic movements have further promoted Shandong women's groups to be active in the political arena.The KMT and The Communist Party consider the women's movement as an important part of mass mobilization.thus they set up a lot of women's groups such as Women's Association,National conference,Qingdao Jinde women's Association.in this process enhanced the strength of women's groups.But they from spontaneous groups gradually into the group that led by the two political parties.After Nanjing National Government has mastered the national leadership,the women's groups have gone through the process of rectification,which is aimed at improving women's lives,education level and serving the society.Charitable groups are more active.This period the Women's groups influenced by social environment changes greatly.Most of them survival time is shot,the scale is small,and the strength is weak,but,it has played a important role in Female enlightenment,improvement of women's life and women's knowledge level.the outbreak of full-scale Anti-Japanese opened the second stage with the development of women's groups in Shandong.In GMT Ruling Area women's group development is not optimistic,but in Communist Party base area,from bottom to top they set up a complete system of women's National Salvation Association Organization.The women group not only organized millions of women provided a strong material and centripetal force for the victory of the Anti-Japanese War,but also obtained their own liberation.It can be seen that the theme of the nation state runs through the development of women's groups in Shandong.which provides space for the development of women's rights movement and accelerates the pace of women's Liberation.But at the same time should be noted that Chinese feminism movement oriented by national interests and the overall interests of the state can not change the Social cultural psychological structure which produced by the Chinese traditional values of Man is superior to woman.
