During the transition between Ming and Qing Dynasties, which is thought as"heaven falling and earth cracking",Lv Liuliang is not only an allegiant adherent of the former dynasty, but also a strict scholar of Zhuzi school. He propagated his radical political thought by commenting on eight-legged essay. It's obviously reflected on esoteric writing of His Handouts about the Four Books. The Theory of Heavenly principle that etiquette came from Heaven was fundamental basis of his political thought's metaphysics. He strictly separated public from private, justice from benefit, civilization from savage through distinctions between emperor and people, king and dictator,Cathay and barbarians. He carried forward the People based thought by criticizing the autocratic monarchy, praised the governance of Three Generations by attacking the system of Han and Tang Dynasty, and abided by cardinal principles of righteousness on Spring and Autumn Annals by emphasizing the prevention of civilization from savage.Generally speaking,Lv Liuliang's political thought,is not only the inheritance of People-oriented tradition of Pre-Qin Confucianism, but also the development of externally kingly thought of Song-Ming Neo-Confucianism.In stark contrast to early Qing court Neo-Confucianism scholars,Lv Liuliang,as a representative of the folk scholars of Zhuzi school, took a critical attitude towards realistic politics.Later, the outbreak of Zeng Jing Case is the political impact of this"Basso Ostinato".
