A Comparative Study Of The Spirit Of Craftsman In China And Japan

In recent years,"bursted shopping" was widely known by the public.During the Spring Festival,the Chinese tourists that buying a large number of commodity in Japan.This behavior caused the attention of the society.Thus the word "bursted shopping"ranked the top of the list which named Japanese hot words in 2015.As an opportunity to cause the public discussion about the spirit of Japanese craftsman.On the other hand,since May 2015,the Chinese CCTV news channel broadcast a series of thematic documentaries,which called "great craftsmen".And at the same time in January 2016 the CCTV nine broadcast another documentary that named "I am in the Imperial Palace repair cultural relics".And in March 2016,the Chinese Premier Li Keqiang proposed that we should cultivate "the spirit of craftsman" in the "Government Work Report",this is the first time that "the spirit of craftsman" has been written into the government work report.So what is "the spirit of craftsman"?In the present,how should we cultivate "the spirit of craftsman"?China and Japan belong to the Asian culture,always maintained a frequent cultural exchange.Because of this,we can not help but doubt that "the spirit of craftsman"is really Japanese unique spirit?This paper will analyzes "the spirit of craftsman"of China and Japan,which on the basis of the previous research.This paper is mainly divided into six parts:The first part of this paper is the introduction.In the second part,I was analyzed the meaning of "craftsman" and "the spirit of craftsman" to determine the research object of this paper.The third part is mainly to analyzes "the spirit of craftsman" in Chinese from the four aspects,which discussed of the social status of craftsman,the ethical norms of craftsman,the main spirit of craftsman and the inheritance of the craftsman's spirit.The fourth part is mainly to analyzes "the spirit of craftsman" in Japanese from the four aspects as same as the third part.The fifth part,which comparesed "the spirit of craftsman" of China and Japan.The last part is the summary of this paper and the future research topics.Through the analysis of this paper,the following conclusions are drawn.Firstly,On the main spirit of craftsmen,both China and Japan have emphasized the importance of craftsman's responsibility.Secondly,both China and Japan have emphasized the importance of the basic principle in the craftsman's ethics,that "perseverance","respect for nature"and "practicability".Finally,China and Japan in the inheritance of"the spirit of craftsman",have shown a "spontaneous" of the "Mentoring system".On the other hand,there are many differences between the two countries.For example,the status of craftsman are both belong to the "workers".But China has implemented the imperial examination system that the people can change status through the imperial examinations.While Japan did not take the same system,continue to use the hereditary system.Secondly,China emphasizes the idea of "benevolence" in the main spirit of craftsman,but Japan is regarded the "sincerity" and "service spirit"as the moral foundation of craftsmen.Finally,on the inheritance of the craftsman's spirit China focuses on blood relationship in family heritage,while Japan pays more attention to the inheritance of spirit.Through the comparative study we can see that "the spirit of craftsman" for China is not an exotic.In order to make "the spirit of craftsman" could be better inherited,it is necessary for us to further develop the responsibility of the producer.And now "the spirit of craftsman" should not excessive pursuited in Japan.And in the future,when China and Japan carry forward "the spirit of craftsman" should also combine the scale and present situation of their consumer market.
