The Study Of Li Weihan's National Thought

As the main person in charge of the early work of our party,Li Weihan has always insisted on the combined of Marxist theory and China's specific national issues in the national work,and made a great contribution to solving the national problems and realizing the unity,development and prosperity of all ethnic groups.Li Weihan's nationality theory had a great influence and played an important role for the party's national theories and national policy formulation and the smooth progress of national work during the times of anti-Japanese war,liberation war,democratic reform and socialism constructions.Our party and the country always attach great importance to the ethnic issues.And today,in the construction of socialist harmonious society and in the process of further accelerating the completion of a comprehensive well-off society in ethnic minority areas,the Party Central Committee with the core of the General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasizes much more importance on national work.In the face of the complicated international situation and the emergence of ethnic contradictions and conflicts in local areas,it has a far-reaching reference value for the development of national work today to re-study and learn from Li Weihan's experience in coordinating ethnic relations and dealing with ethnic issues.This paper is composed of three parts.The first part studies the theoretical origin of Li Weihan's national thoughts,and the author thinks that his thoughts are mainly affected by two aspects.On the one hand,it was mainly influenced by Confucianism with a far-sighted heart,extensive learning and devoted practice,a good example as well as introspectiveness and self-control.On the other hand,it was mainly influenced by the Marxist theory on the national equality and unity and national integration thought,and religious theory.The two aspects of the content had an important impact on Li Weihan to join the revolution,and engage in national work in the future;In the second part,the main contents of Li Weihan's national thoughts are sorted out comprehensively,and have fully analysis from the aspects of ethnic regional autonomy,religion,the correct handling of ethnic relations,the training of ethnic minority cadres and the promotion of common development and prosperity of all ethnic groups;In the third part,this article which based on the reality,combined with the new situation and new problems of the current international and domestic national work elaborated that Li Weihan's national thoughts still have important reference on solution to current national problems in China.
