The development of we-media has brought great change to public life, people's freedom of expression through the development of network technology enters into an unprecedented new stage.We-media not only is a social platform, but also has become a new channel of interaction between people and the government, and even has subverted the pattern of political communication, which means a double-edged sword for the government.We-media,on one hand, promotes improvement of governmental functions and integrity with its internet public opinion supervision function,on the other hand,it makes the network environment in disorder with its peculiarities, bringing about immense issues such as information security issue, false information dissemination and so on.Many scholars have admitted that we-media has become a new factor affecting the country's political security. The author also believes that in the new era environment it is of far-reaching significance to explore and determine the boundary of the expression freedom via we-media.From the perspective of the characteristics, advantages and limitations of we-media,the legal regulation of speech freedom, and the current situation of network governance, the paper has cited substantial cases for that argument.Advanced we-media has extended the freedom of expression, whose boundary is discussed within the framework of the Constitution. Its fundamental purpose is to pursue a wider range of freedom rights and to ensure the orderly development of online political participation of the masses.Regulatory departments should also conduct updated regulation and governance of this new phenomenon, effectively guide each we-media platform user to ensure the legitimate rights of citizens as well as to promote the democratic process of society.
