Study On Xi Zhongxun's United Front Thought And Its Contemporary Value

Xi Zhongxun,one of the proletarian revolutionaries of the older generation,is an outstanding leader in the domain of the united front work in the Chinese Communist Party and our country.In his revolutionary life of more than 70 years,Xi engaged the united front work for long time,establishing and leading the Shaan-Gan-Ning Border Region,coping with the complex national and religious problems of northwest region,tackling the illegal immigration in Guangdong Province,and enriching and implementing of the party's united front theory and policy in the new era of reform and openness.In the long-term practical work of the united front,Xi was always used to summing up experiences,which were distilled into systematic united front theory.His united front theory keeping pace with the times enriches new content to the united front theory of our country and provides references and experiences for the implementation of the certain theory in the new era.This thesis discusses the topic in four specific aspects: the first part argues the purpose and necessity of the topic,and summarizes the current situation of the researches in the domain,and introduces the research thought and method of this thesis,and explains the innovation points in the study;the second part overviews Xi's United Front Thought in the New Democratic Revolution Period,including the period of agrarian revolution,the period of full-scale anti-Japanese war and the period of Suide;the third part outlines Xi's United Front Thought of northwest region in the period after the founding of new China,including the period of his administration in northwest region,the period of his administration in the party's Central Committee,the period of his administration in Guangdong Province and the new period of reform and opening policy;and the last part explores the practical significances of Xi's United Front Thought on the theory in the new era,including the improvement of the theoretical level,the implementation of party's mass line,the persistence of the party's leadership,and emancipation of the mind.
