A Study On The Relationship Between The Zunyi Conference Spirit And The Long March Culture

Guizhou is the province where the great strategic shift,the long march process,stayed for the longest time,where the major historical events happened,and where the most important strategic significance was made.The Zunyi Conference,which was held in Guizhou province has undoubtedly become a significant turning point in reversing the revolutionary situation of the crisis,strengthening the forces of the great revolution and developing the revolutionary road with Chinese characteristics.The Long March process before the Zunyi Conference was controlled by the “left-leaning” idea for a long time,the prospects for the revolution are not optimistic.The whole team's spirit suffered serious setbacks.Just after Comrade Mao Zedong put forward to march on Guizhou,the Central Committee of Communist Party gradually realized that China could not be saved only by the imitation of Soviet Union's political system and military strategy but without consideration of the actual situation in China.Hence,A series of meetings dominated by the Zunyi Conference were held.It is the first time that the Central Committee of Communist Party solve the problem independently.They reorganized the central core leaders,and continued the process of revolution under the leadership of Comrade Mao Zedong's thought of seeking truth from facts.During the Zunyi conference,the spirit of strengthening conviction,seeking truth from the facts,democracy and unity and maintaining independence,just like a beacon,illuminated the road behind the Long March.After this conference,the Long March process opened up a new situation,from the victory of various wars to the successful junction of the three main forces of Red Army,all the facts tell us that the Zunyi Conference is the turning point of the revolution and the spirit of the Zunyi conference is the basis of the spirit of the long march.The culturesgenerated in both material and spirit forms after the Long March,all are affected by the Zunyi Conference spirit to some extent.The Long March culture is not only guided by the Zunyi conference spirit,but also considered as the inheritance and development of the spirit of the Zunyi conference.Firstly,this paper discusses the spirit of Zunyi conference and the main content of the long march culture.Secondly,through the analysis of tow great events' scientific connotations.Finally,It summarizes the importance of the Zunyi conference and the long march culture in the course of history and the positive significance to the modern society,which helps people to gain a better understanding of their inner connections.
