The Research Of Marxist Theory Education In Thecomprehensive Construction Of Socialist Period (1956-1966)

As a political party regarding Marxism as its guiding ideology,The Communist Party of China,since the establishment,has attached great importance to the propaganda of Marxism combined with the task of different historical stages in China,and strengthened the education of Marxist theory to realizing the unity of people's ideological understanding.After the socialist transformation is completed,China has entered a new period of building socialism in an all-round way.But the Communist Party of China still faced severe difficulties and challenges.In order to successfully carry out various social tasks,it is necessary to carry out Marxist theory education to lay a theoretical foundation for future social development.The main contents of Marxist theory education in the period of building socialism in all-round way are as follows: First,follow the law of economic development,handle the relationship between the state,the collective and the individual,pay attention to the overall situation,fully understand the stage of social development in China;Second,in the process of cultural construction,adhere to the approach of "All flowers are in bloom and hundreds of schools of thoughts contend" "make the past serve the present,make the foreign things serve China",promote cultural development;Third,come up with countermeasures basing on the fully understanding of the current social contradictions between the people's growing material and cultural needs and social production;Fourth,adhere to the mass line,do everything from the masses,to the masses.Strengthen the education of serving the people wholeheartedly,and enhance the sense of service of leading cadres and party members and cadres;Fifth,adhere to socialist education,pay attention todistinguishing between socialism and capitalism,strengthen education of communism and patriotism.There were diverse ways to realize Marxist theory education in this period.The publication of literature,newspapers and periodicals laid the foundation for the realization of Marxist theory education.The top-down education strengthened the theoretical research of the leading cadres,and the mass activities made the Marxist theory popular.In the university education,Marxist theory has been systematically propagated and understood,and the Sino-Soviet debate has further strengthened the Marxist theory education.The diversity of educational channels has ensured the remarkable achievements of Marxist theory education in this period,strengthened the dominant position of Marxism in the field of ideology,deepened the understanding of the law of socialist construction,and cultivated a large number of socialist builders and successors.The thought and action of the broad masses have achieved unity and the further development of socialist construction.Getting results and experience at the same time,due to a variety of subjective and objective reasons,Marxist theory of education also has some limitations,which should be useful for the practical work of the present stage: the need of emphasizing the spirit of pragmatism to enhance the timeliness of Marxist theory education;the need of expanding the educational object to achieve the Marxist theory of education in the public;the need of innovative methods to highlight the Marxist theory of education;the need to attach importance to the theoretical education of Chinese Marxism.
