Criminal case-filing is the beginning of criminal proceedings and the start of the entire activities of criminal lawsuits. As the beginning of criminal legal supervision system, the good functioning of criminal case supervision is the main point to ensure the smooth undergoing of criminal investigation and trial activities. As the legal supervision organ of our country, the procuratorial authorities supervise the activities of the criminal cases and guarantee the criminal prosecution carrying on smoothly. Criminal Register and supervision of the prosecution is a concrete manifestation of the exercise of prosecutorial power. Criminal Procedure Law constructs our criminal legal system of supervision through the continuous improvement of the criminal case-filing supervision, including filing supervision, supervision of investigation, trial supervision and supervision of enforcement. Criminal case supervision is in the first place of the legal supervision system in our country. It is quite important to guarantee the high quality and high efficiency of the whole legal supervision system.Based on investigation and analysis of criminal record supervision in five years of the W branch of Procuratorate in City C and rich theory of supervision of criminal cases filing, this paper is trying to find problems and deficiencies in the specific operation of the criminal case filing supervision of this Procuratorate through the specific criminal case filing supervision practice. And this thesis makes recommendations on theses problems in order to make the procuratorate supervision effect better. There are five parts in the paper except for introduction and conclusion.The first part aims to introduce the objective, methods.The second part is an overview of the prosecution of criminal register. The relevant concepts of criminal case filing supervision in China are summarized and compared through absorbing the advantages of each point and discarding its deficiencies. This part gives the most suitable definition of the characteristics and functions of the criminal case filing supervision in combination with the specific practice in China.The third part is the survey report of supervision of the procuratorial organs in criminal cases-based on branch W of procuratorate in C city. This part specifically analyzes all kinds of situations of criminal case supervision by collecting data in the case of criminal register within its jurisdiction in the branch W of procuratorate in C city. And the specific circumstances of the Procuratorate's supervision of the criminal case is directly displayed by the form of the chart.The fourth part is the problems existing in the operation of criminal cases supervision of branch W of procuratorate in C city and the reason analysis. This part makes a detailed analysis of the limitations in this procuratorate by analyzing the specific operation of the criminal case-filing supervision and tries to analyze the causes of these problems.The fifith part is the solution to the problems of the supervision of the procuratorial organs in criminal cases. This paper is trying to find protective supervision measures of high quality and efficiency through analyzing the problems existing in operation of criminal cases supervision of branch W of procuratorate in C city. Based on relevant theory and practical work, this paper puts forward the countermeasures to solve these problems.
