The Research On Russian Diplomatic Strategy Under The Background Of The US And European Sanction

November 21 th,2013,the Ukraine crisis break out,a series of political issues happened afterwards,the transfer of regime,Russia’s took over of Crimea,civil conflict,all of these factors are deteriorating bilateral ties between Russia and US.Especially after the public voting of Crimea’s independence and join of Russia federation,EU and US have put a package of sanction measures on Russia,including individual and organization,covering the areas of nature resource industry,financial sector,military corporation and state-owned companies.However,Russia reply harshly on those escalating sanction measures,but,the sanctions already make Russia run in to a dilemma,domesticity and diplomatically.In economic aspect,it generated negative impact on Russia’s finance andmacro-economy,Ruble depreciate,in-port and out-port shrank,foreign invest escaped with the investing environment keep worsening,international financing and payment blocked,people’s living standard has falling down a great deal.In political aspect,EU and US are trying to implement isolation strategy and put harder pressure on Russia.The Ukraine crisis created irreconcilable conflict between Russia and US,the bilateral relationship has touched the bottom since the end of Cold War.Facing the sever international dilemma,Russia had implemented a series of strategic adjustments to regain it’s international status and address the adverse impact generated by sanctions Russia had implemented a series of strategic adjustments.Russia had issued a new national safety strategy,it re-identified Russia’s national interest,made new diplomatic direction,adjusted economic resources strategy and settled new aims of military strategy.Russia is also trying to integrate CIS areas,enhance it’s dominant power in this area and promote it’s “Eurasia union” Proposal.Guided by it’s “Look east” diplomatic policy,Russia is trying to transfer it’s attention from Europe to Pacific Asia,it will make great importance for Russia to consolidate relationship with countries in Asian-pacific region,especially China.President Putin is positively pushing forward the strategic partnership of cooperation with China,meanwhile,enhance Russia’s economic,political and safety cooperation with other regional countries like Vietnam,Mongolia,India,North Korea.In order to enlarge it’s development space in Asian-pacific region,Russia is actively participate in the platform of APEC,SOC and conferences of BRICK countries.
