The Protection And Restriction Of The Freedom Of Expression On The Internet

The rapid development of the Internet has greatly changed our living conditions,brought us a lot of convenience.People can get the latest information on the internet,easily communicate with people from different regions and learn each other.The Internet provides a new platform for the development of speech.The public expresses their views on the Internet and exchanges their views.It also promotes the progress of the democratic society while enriching the network information.On the other hand,due to the anonymity of the network and other characteristics,making some of the network speech violations of the legitimate rights and interests of others and the public interest.Therefore,it is necessary to restrict the freedom of expression on the network,and it is very important to correctly handle the relationship between freedom of expression and restriction.The first part of this paper expounds the connotation of freedom of expression,analyzes and summarizes the characteristics and value of freedom of expression.The second part points out the basis for guaranteeing the freedom of expression on the network and summarizes the achievements and the areas to be improved.The third part,for the network freedom of expression and personal rights and interests,the public interest of the conflict,put forward the need for network freedom of expression to the necessary restrictions,as well as the principle of restrictions.The fourth part,through the discussion of the United States,Germany and Singapore network freedom of expression protection andregulation,we want to get useful experience.In the fifth part,according to the actual condition in China,it is suggested that we should improve the legal awareness of users,create a looser environment for network expression as much as possible,clear the boundaries of network expression,adhere to the obvious and immediate dangerous principles,improve the remedies of freedom of expression,and keep balance between protection and restriction.We put forward to promoting the development of freedom of expression in the order.
