Polar has become the focus of many disciplines because it has a unique geographical location and the natural environment.With the increase in human activities in the polar world,more and more countries recognize the rich resources contained in the polar regions and the scientific value,resource value and so on.But in recent years because of human beings in the Arctic and Antarctic on the wanton activities and not a sound legal system to protect it,at present,both the Arctic and the Antarctic are facing serious environmental problems,such as the growing problem of the ozone layer,the problem of continuous melting glaciers,and the continuing deterioration of the polar animal's living environment,these problems will also have a significant impact on the global environment and socio-economic,so the protection of the polar environment has reached an urgent situation.In recent years,due to the increase in human activities,the global climate in an extremely unstable period,which also led to pollution problems continue to increase,especially polar environmental pollution problems,Since the polar regions do not belong to any country's territory,Human beings wantonly to the development of the polar,but regardless of whether it has an impact on its environment,but did not take reasonable measures to its unified management and protection,Which led to the polar environment has been greatly damaged so that the threat of human survival of their homes.This paper focuses on polar protection as the center,focusing on what measures should be taken to prevent and protect the polar environment to maintain the balance of global ecology,In view of this,this paper will be from the following aspects,to explore the importance of protecting the polar environment.The first part combines the status quo of polar environment to explain the origin and purpose of the topic and the status quo at home and abroad.The second part combines international law and regional legislation to explain the current situation of polar environmental protection laws and the problems and solutions.The third part analyzes the improvement of the implementation path of the legal protection of polar environment by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages between thesoft and hard law of polar environmental protection.The fourth part of the current situation of environmental protection in China to further elaborate on China to strengthen the polar environmental protection participation in the positive role.
