Since the 21 st century,with the improvement of living standards and medical technology,the number of elderly population over the age of 60 is increasing,the aging of the population has gradually developed into a global trend,the world population structure has also undergone significant changes and faced new challenges.At present,China's elderly population is the largest in the world.Growth?maturity and recession are a slow physiological process,when people go into the elderly stage,the physiological function began to decline,the body began to aging,which will lead a lot of physical and mental illness.Therefore,we should care for the elderly and provide them with help.Research shows that the physiological function decline lead muscle relaxation and osteoporosis,so that many elderly people gravity instability in the ordinary standing and walking,physical activity and coordination ability decline,resulting difficult and laborious in a lot of ways,such as bending,Standing,walking and other daily activities which aggravates psychological burden.According to these phenomena,walking auxiliary tool as a kind of balance and help implement lets the old people achieve walking around,go out and self-care state of life even without the help of others.Currently all kinds of existing walkers on the market exist some of the problem such as insufficiency,unreasonable size,lack of design,etc.the existing product can't satisfy the actual needs of old people,so it is our responsibility to do some design and research about the walker for the elderly.Based on ergonomics and finite element analysis,this paper analyzes the physiological and mental state of the elderly,and then analyzes the function,size,material and color of the elderly.After the analysis results,choosing material and color,using Pro/E software to build 3 d models,and then we use Hyper-Mesh software to do the finite element analysis of the skeletal structure model of the walker.Through these work we can achieve the purpose of detection and optimization.Finally,using the CATIA software to carry on Simulation Analysis of the model of the walker,and realize the detection and optimization of the size of the walker.The design of the walker will meet the necessary conditions such as crossing obstacles and walking freedom,it also meets the pursuit of the shape and color.The ultimate goal is to achieve the emotional care for the elderly and to help promote the sustainable development of society under the aging.
