Exploring In Humanistic Quality Education For Students Majoring In Funeral And Interment Services At Vocational Colleges

Higher vocational education has trained a large number of professional skilled graduates for the national economy and social development of our country.However,due to a variety of reasons,the higher vocational education still exist many disadvantages,one of which is neglecting cultivation of students' humanistic quality.In the process of its development,higher vocational colleges at present stage,emphasize too much on the cultivation of student professional skills and professional ability,and intentionally or unintentionally neglected the humanistic quality education for higher vocational students study in school and the importance of their career development in the future.If things had continued this way,it would be a serious negative impact on higher vocational students' lifelong development and the development of higher vocational education itself.Funeral and interment profession is a small professional of higher vocational colleges,it provides a series of professional services for people died later,such as the etiquette of mourning dead people,beauty treatment of dead body,antisepsis preservation of the dead body and buried activity,and a series of special scientific and technological operation and management.China is a nation with five thousand years of splendid culture of ancient civilizations.In the process of its historical changes and cultural interpretations,China gradually formed the complicated traditional funeral custom or funeral culture.Such as respecting and admiration of the deceased,Burial brings peace to the deceased and dress in the coarse hempen cloth of mourning,evocation by raising a banner,prayer for the deceased,etc,.With the establishment of the new China,in the process of developing socialist culture,China gradually establish a new burial culture,the core value of it is that taking much more care of aged people and hold a simple and cheap ceremony for the deceased,respect the minority historic heritage,to advocate cremation and bury under trees or flowers and other new types of burial modes which are good for green environmental protection.Hence,the leadership of funeral and interment at higher vocational college has to learn how to absorb the essence of traditional funeral culture and contemporary funeral culture,so as to make students become the high skilled talents who are educated by a good funeral culture and the respect of the deceased,as well as full of humanistic care.Following a series of core humanistic values of the great respecting the dead and his body,good to family members,respecting the local funeral heritage and so on,it,on the basis of the relevant research literature review,has made a survey in this thesis on the status quo of humanistic quality education for undergraduates who are majoring in funeral and interment services at a Chinese higher vocational college.through the analysis the existing problems and causes in such aspects as training objectives,curriculum and teaching,the author puts forward some suggestions on improving the humanistic quality education for the students who are majoring in funeral and interment services at vocational colleges,including to strengthen effective integration,cultivate new type of high skill talented person having both ability and political integrity.
