Research On The Visibility Detection Model And Its Application In Army Simulation System

Nowadays, the visibility analysis is generally applied to various fields of the society. People always use visibility analysis to achieve the optimal path selection, battlefield decision-making, urban planning and so on. It provides solutions for many practical problems. In the military field, the visibility analysis plays an important role in the behavioral planning and procedural advancement of military simulation system. Similar to the visibility analysis, detection probability represents visual degree of two objects, and it provides decision-making function for military simulation system. As the military simulation system is not equipped with detection equipment which can get real-time detection data, it is necessary to design methods for calculating the detection probability. According to the essential consistency of visibility analysis and detection probability, the two can be used conjunctively. Under this background, this paper implements a detection model based on the visibility analysis, and applies it to the military simulation system.In this paper, after improving the current visibility analysis algorithm,the detection probability is calculated based on analytical results. In view of the detection probability, this paper designs two calculation methods,pre-calculation and dynamic calculation. Different methods apply to diverse real circumstances. Depending on the accuracy of the results, the pre-calculation includes low, medium and high resolution. With the raise of resolution, the computing time becomes longer. For the sake of being close to actuality, the affect of environmental factors is taken into account in calculating detection probability. In order to understand the building effect of detection model, this paper applies it to the existing Army simulation system to observe the impact on the simulation process. This paper designs the query function of visibility analysis, for achieving the goal of visually getting the results of visibility analysis and detection probability.At last, this paper illustrates the hardware environment's configuration,and validates the visibility detection model in function and performance to ensure that the simulation system is operated normally and its function is completed.
