With the rapid development of news media change rapidly,traditional news organizations have been unable to cope with the editing mode,journalists began the development of all sectors of society of various occupation news informants,culture media literacy has become their own news sources.But some news reports are the main source based on trust relationship to provide secret information to reporters,if reporters at the main source of information disclosed,good relations of cooperation will not only destroy the source,is more likely to make the other person safety to be violated;but does not affect the press important blood-news sources to obtain,is contrary to the the news occupation ethics.Therefore,the protection of news sources is not only the requirements of professional ethics,but also reflects the effective realization of the freedom of the press and public opinion supervision.When the press freedom to exercise power to protect the source of the interests of other aspects of justice.When a lawsuit is reported,the journalist as a person who knows the case is required to perform the obligation to testify,and does not enjoy the privilege of refusing to testify.At this time,journalists must choose the freedom of the press or the maintenance of justice.In this study,mainly from the perspective of journalism,the fusion theory of law and ethics,discusses the judicial justice and occupation ethics two aspects of the news source protection problems: first,the protection of news sources is recognized and most of the reporters follow the occupation morals,but in the court asked the journalists when the court still refused to disclose is bound to affect the judicial trial.However,the judiciary requires each person to have the obligation to testify is also the law of justice and equality of the external.How to protect the conflict between the news source and the justice?
