The Dialectics Between Income And Consumption: A Study On Household Consumption Structure Of Farmers In D Village Of Huzhu County

The economic and social development of minority area is the key and difficult point of building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects,and promoting farmers' development and living standard are also the priority among priorities of“issues of agriculture”.This paper proceeds with the interaction of income and consumption,studies the life of farmers from minority area,it helps to extend research perspective and enrich the research content of ethnology.It will have practical significance to analyze the case on a Tu ethnic group from Huzhu county of Qinghai province,and research farmers' life in the perspective of income and consumption.This paper includes four sections,the first introduces the income condition of rural households from a Tu ethnic group in D county.It points out that their sources of income mainly include agriculture,labor,operation of small business,in forms of wage and multiple paths of balanced income,it has features of diversification of resource,the instability of income resource and the relative balance of income.This paper also analyze the factors that would influence the rural households' income.The second section describe the consumption condition of Tu ethnic group in D county.It analyze the households' income structure from D county in terms of basic consumption condition,the cultural characteristic consumption condition and productive investment consumption condition.The basic consumption condition consists of daily consumption necessities(cloth,food,living and travel),developmental consumption like education,important family consumption like housing and vehicle and entertainment consumption.The cultural characteristic consumption consists of religious activities,festival consumption as well as weddings and funerals.The productive investment consumption consists of seeds,fertilizer,pesticides and farm tools.Based on these analysis,it further study the features and influential factors of rural households consumption from a Tu ethnic group in D county.The third section focus on the interactions between income and consumption.It studies how the income would influence consumption level,structure andpreference,as well as the effects of consumption decision,extended influence and custom on income of rural households from Tu ethnic group,it reveals interactions between income and consumption.It highlights the analysis the effect of ethnic culture of Tu group on their households' income and consumption.The forth section explains the suggestions and contemplations of how to optimize the economic structure of rural households from Tu ethnic group.First of all to improve the family income,followed by overcoming psychological comparisons,establish a rational consumer attitudes,pay attention to family consumption long-term plan.From these two aspects,put forward specific proposals,with a view to promote the healthy development of farmers family economy.
