The Analyses On Household Consumption In Jiangsu Province And The Developing Strategy

Consumption plays a great role in economic growth. According to economic principle, consumption is not only the final stage but also the logistic start in the life cycle of social production. Since our country carry the policy of reforming its economic system and opening to outside world, the economy growths with a high rate. Consumption is an important factor affecting economic development. On this background, consumption is not only the result of economic growth, but also the prerequisite of it. So study these questions are getting more important: the relationship between Consumption and economic growth; encourage and promote consumption; enhance economic growth by consumption. Three topics are studied in this course: First, the theory of consumption by western researchers is described, which guarded governments' policies. Second, according to the current state of household consumption in our province, it shows household consumption is the steadiest force supporting economic growth. However, the growth rate of household consumption is getting lower in GDP, which is lack of motivating to economic growth. Third, the factors influencing household consumption are analysis on the basis of theory and survey. It points out that the factor of non-income has coming a key one. At last, the corresponding Strategies are put forward.
