Science and technology in promoting economic development,cultural prosperity and social progress at the same time,with the development of technical rationality and value rationality and technology rationality split,with the further expansion of technical reason,rational alienation in the developed industrial society of rule of tools,the rationality of the technology into the rationality of the rule.Herbert Marcuse,(Herbert Marcuse,1898-1979)as the main representative figure of Frankfurt school,Marcuse in critically inherited Marx in the economic and philosophical manuscripts of 1844,and on the basis of heidegger's thought of existentialism,technical rationality was regarded as a kind of positive way of thinking.and the infiltrated every aspect of society,society become one-mentional society,it suppresses human transcendence,disrupted critical,dispelling the negative,the essence of human alienation,became a slave to technology,into the one person.Marcuse aware of this,he from three levels namely natural beauty reduction,eros liberation people level,social level art revolution from technical control is put forward,so as to realize man's freedom and liberation of the society.Marcuse's technology ruling ideas for us to solve the social problem has important significance.However,Marcuse technocracy a fatal flaw is that he thinks that the working class is no longer revolutionary,it will be the main body of revolution to the intellectuals,the unemployed and homeless,has the strong utopian color,he thinks that man's alienation is caused by technical rule,rather than the capitalist private ownership,obviously is defending private ownership.
