Historical Investigation Of Chongqing Reporters' Visit To Yan'an During The War Of Resistance Againstjapanese Aggression

After the ignition of the war of resistance against Japanese aggression,Yan'an was considered as the yearning place,where had an immeasurable historical position.Although the KMT with acknowledged the legitimacy of the Chinese Communist Party,they took economic besiege,military encirclement and news blockage policy towards Yan'an.Moreover,they interrupted the domestic and foreign people's visit to Yan'an,which enhanced the mystique of Yan'an,and stimulated a strong desire of reporters who wanted to go there.To explore Yan'an,reporters from Chongqing newspapers visited Yan'an three times,which improved the influence of the Communist Party of China and the border area both domestically and internationally.In order to survive,Chongqing newspapers would have their own political stances.Hence,reporters of such newspapers represented three different positions: the Communist Party of China,the Kuomintang of China and centrist party.The research of delving the identity of the thirteen Chongqing reporters,analyzing their purpose of interviewing Yan'an and their writings after returning to Chongqing and sorting out the historical context of their visit to Yan'an plays a vital role in studying the Communist Party of China broke through the Kuomintang's blockage of news in the anti-Japanese base area and helping re-understood the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region as well as the Chinese Communist.The dissertation sums up the lastest reseach results on historical investigation of Chongqing reporters' visit to Yan'an,learning from the beneficial ingredients of the theoretical study on historical investigation in the academic community including political science,sociology,history and education,and guided by the Marxism.The thesis is based on the historical documents of KMT and CPC,and on the important discussion on historical investigation of the historical figures,summarizes and analyzes a series of problems on the main features and practical significance of the historical context of Chongqing reporters' visit to Yan'an.Firstly,an overview of the attitudes of Chongqing newspapers towardsthe CPC and interviews of Yan'an in different stages of the war of resistance was presented.This would be the premises of studying Chongqing reporters' visits.Since different journalists have different positions,their comments can represent both the view of their offices and the general public.Therefore,through analysing the backgrounds of Chongqing newspapers and their purposes of sending reporters to Yan'an during that time,the circumstances can be restored to study the broke down of KMT's news blockage.Secondly,their journeys to Yan'an and reports of the visitors were studied in the order of their sects.This is the main research area of the paper.Aiming for restoring the truth to the maximum,various method were utilized to sort out the reporters' visits and their writings,thereafter the actions that CPC took to broke down KMT's blockage were understand.Among these reports,centrists' objective publicity plays an important role in rediscovering CPC's great efforts in during the war of resistance.Lastly,details of Chongqing reporters' visit to Yan'an were analysed,both domestic and international influences of their visits were explored,the realistic meanings of studying their visits were indicated.Thus,the reason of CPC's successful broke to the blockage was analysed,and the way of CPC treated Chongqing reporters should be used for reference.Moreover,the lesson of KMT's news blockage should be studied,Marxism theory need to be learned,the advancing direction of socialist advanced culture should be grasped,and consequently,enhance our cultural awareness and cultural self-confidence.
