MAO Zedong's Third Line Construction Strategy And Contemporary Value

Mao Zedong was the designer of the Chinese three-line construction strategy,which was the great achievement that Mao Zedong profoundly summarized successful experience of Chinese revolution and applied universal principles of Marxism flexibly.The study aims to explore historical contributions of Mao Zedong's three-line construction strategy and analyze its contemporary value for Chinese characteristic socialism.On the basis of introducing theory and historical background of Mao Zedong's three-line construction strategy,the author discussed implementation of Mao Zedong's three-line construction strategy and historical process from 1964 to 1978 from the perspective of national defense and military construction and national economic construction.Then,the author summarized historical contributions of Mao Zedong's three-line construction strategy based on reality: to preliminarily establish the national defense scientific research system in China,form the military equipment system with complete categories,provide the solid safeguard for the peaceful development road in China,adjust long-term unbalanced industrial layout in China and promote comprehensive development and progress of undertakings in three-line areas.At last,the author analyzed the status and contemporary value of Mao Zedong's three-line construction strategy in Party's history.Positive and negative experience of three-line construction provides the profound enlightenment on constantly deepening regional reform,realizing Chinese nation's great rejuvenation,and insisting in the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
