The Studies Of Samir Amin's Thought Of Capitalist Democratic Criticism

There has been a serious crisis in the development of capitalist society,especially in the course of capitalist development,where democracy has faced unprecedented challenges.In the process of globalization,the expansion of capitalism becomes apparent,which is incompatible with the democracy advocated by the mainstream ideology of capitalism.This article mainly discusses the background,the content and contemporary influence of Samir Amin's critique on capitalist democracy from the point of view of democracy so that it can expose the pseudo-democratic phenomena of capitalist society,deepen the understanding of capitalist society and demonstrate the contemporary value of Amin's thoughts."Democracy" is an important starting point and the focus of Samir Amin's thoughts,in which "democracy" runs through the development of capitalism.Samir Amin's critique on capitalist democracy is profound and thought-provoking.Therefore,In-depth study of Samir Amin's critique on capitalist democracy is of great importance to contemporary socialist countries and the third-world countries.This article mainly includes the following three parts:The first part analyzes the background and theoretical origins of Samir Amin's critique on capitalist democracy.The background mainly includes from the present state of Egypt that Samir Amin lives in and the political crisis,economic crisis and ecological crisis of the contemporary capitalist society.The theoretical origins are discussed from two aspects: influences of Marx and Engels' s critical thoughts on Amin and influences of critical thoughts of Western Marxist classic writers on Amin.The second part is the analysis of the contents of Amin's critique on capitalistdemocracy.It mainly presents four aspects: criticism on economic democracy of capitalism,criticism on political democracy of capitalism,criticism on ecological democracy of capitalism and Amin constructive thoughts about future society.In short,the whole part not only includes Amin's critique on capitalist democracy,but also puts forward his constructive thoughts,which has some reference value and significance.The third part evaluates Samir Amin's critique on capitalist democracy.It shows that Amin's thoughts have some shortcomings in the sense of practice,but his thoughts have an impressive significance to the inheritance and development of capitalist democracy criticism theory.Meanwhile it help contemporary socialist countries and the third world countries find out the essence of capitalism and stick to the development path of socialism.
