Research On Samir Amin's Polarization Theory

Samir Amin(1931-2018)is a famous political economist in Egypt,a neo-Marxist theorist,a famous expert on globalization,and a representative of Marxism in the world system.His research field is extremely widespread,has a strong humanistic color and broad international vision,he has made the world polarization problem as the research object,systematically deconstructing worldwide divide and explain the complexity of the essential,globalization of the world system,the regularity of the development of capitalism,liberalism and the hypocrisy of Eurocentric and the contemporary value of Marxism.Samir Amin's polarization theory deepens the study of Marxism theory of the world system,innovates the perspective of the development of underdeveloped countries,and completes the transformation of critical capitalism from conceptual analysis to system analysis in the study of the polarization of the world,and highlights the world significance of China's road.The thesis is mainly composed of the following four chapters:The first chapter mainly discusses the significance of the topic,the research status at home and abroad,the research significance and the innovation points and shortcomings.The second chapter mainly discusses the realistic basis and theoretical origin of Samir Amin's polarization theory.The theoretical origin of the theory of polarization is discussed from the inheritance of classical Marxism and the supplement and development of Marxism in the world system.In the third chapter,the realistic dilemma of polarization is firstly elaborated,that is,the polarization between center and edge at the level of economic development,the polarization at the level of industrialization.Secondly,it analyzes the reasons for the polarization of the world,that is,the globalization of the capitalist system in Europe and America,the expansion of globalization and the swallowing up of western ideology.Finally,the paper introduces the ways to overcome the polarization,mainly through the three aspects of moving toward the socialist world system,toward the socialist transformation,toward Marxism and the pursuit of equal development.In the fourth chapter,according to the above content of Samir Amin's polarization theory,this theory is evaluated from two aspects of theoretical value and inner dilemma.
