With the rapid development of economy and the improvement of living standards,the number of motor vehicles is increasing dramatically.The public security organ has met unprecedented opportunities and challenges.At the same time,with the popularity of cars,the criminal suspects have take cars as criminal goals or a traffic tools,which lead to increasingly serious vehicle-crimes and social harms.At present,the urgent problem to solve is the traffic administrative department of the public security organ how to utilize the existing intelligence data and resources,insist on reform and innovation,develop their potential,make full use of the efficiency of intelligence and prevent and strike the vehicles-crimes efficiently.Based on the idea of intelligence leading police affairs,the thesis explores the main competency of traffic polices in vehicle-crimes.It includes four aspects: the application of intelligence in vehicles-crimes,the competence in vehicle-crimes of the traffic polices in Chengdu,the reasons why the traffic polices in Chengdu can not enhance a full function in vehicle-crimes and the methods to enhance the vehicle-crimes function.First,the thesis states the background and the significance of the subject.Second,the thesis analyzes the functions of intelligence in vehicle-crimes from inspecting vehicles,affording information from vehicles and drivers management,investigation at traffic accident scene and electronic police system.Third,the thesis discusses the current situation of Chengdu traffic polices in the area of vehicle-crimes,and analyzes how to improve the competence of Chengdu traffic polices in reality.At last,the thesis finds the reasons for the lack of competence in vehicle-crimes,and proposes some opinions and suggestions to improve.
