Research On The Influence Of Political Identity Of The Middle Class To The Regime Stability

After Reforming and Opening up in China,there has been a great improvement whether in the national development,or in the living standard of people.In the China ' s modernization drive,social structure has changed dramatically.With the development of market economy in China,the middle class arised and enlarged.As we know,middle class was the major calss in the modern society.Compared with the developed country that had already realized modernization,the social structure of China is still unstable.There was still a lot of problems in development of the middle class,such as the quality,scale and stability of middle class.Only when we enlarge the sacle of the middle class and transfer the social structre of China,can we realize modernization drive.The political identity has a great influence on the stability of regime,because it not only provides a firm support to the regime,but also gurantees an interal political cohesion.As the major class of developed country,the middle class plays a significant role on the regime stability.However,in China,middle class has lower degree of political identity.The reasons why there's a lack of the political identity in the middle class are as follows:frist,the growth of economy slows down,causing the loss of their profits and income.Secondly,the lag of systematic reform,leads to the weakening of ability of governace.Third,the hysteresis of social mobility leads to social class curing.It makes a negative influnce to prospects for development of the middle class in China.The lack of political identity of the middle class would have a negative influence on the stability of regime in China.Besides,it would weaken the legitimacy foundation of our country,undermining social consensus,and even weaken the political cohensive force in China.In order to improve the current situation of political identity in the middle class,need to countries to deepen the reform in the following three aspects: first,deepen political system reform,enhance governing capacity.Second,optimizing the distributing modern of public resource,promote social mobility.Third,expand the scale of social middle class,to realize the modernization of the social structure.
