Study On Social Stratification In Middle Suburban Rural Areas In The Period Of Transition

In the progress of globalization and modernization, plenty of villages are involved among them, and had a modernization gradually characteristic of modernization, so is suburb village that is placed in the transition type of community. In China, suburb village is not a brief phenomenon, but a sort of community type existing in the long-standing development of economic society. During the transformation of China society, the social groups of suburb village are obviously divided and greatly influenced the stability and development of the society. Therefore, there are special cademic value and practice meaning to study social member's layering of suburb village. Owing to this, this article is based on the theories of globalization and modernize and social layering theory, mainly uses the method of sociology questionnaire, depth interview and the anthropology daily life analytical method, through investigating to the individual cases of A village, X town, L City, Hubei province, and carries on a demenstration research to the Chinese social layering structure. The full article is divided into five chapters:The chapter one, firstly, some literatures conerning on a social layering of the village transformation period are reviewed, and the logic way of thinking and hypotheses of this research are put forward at the same time.The chapter two, the social background that influences the current village's social layering is discussed and analysised influence, and the influences on village social stratum division are summarized that caused by the globalization and modernization movement, reform to open, traditional culture and dual social structure.The chapter three, an investigating research on the standard of the village layering is carried on, the dominant criterion to two periods of the layering is explored and c a change research is also carried on.The chapter four, from the three dimensions of objective layering on village, subjective cognition and social evaluation, the hierarchy change of suburb village and the structure of social stratum in the period of transformation are stressly analyzed.The chaper five, some related thinkings are put forward to the problems that currently existed in suburb village social members' division, own theoretical standpoints pointing to the reasons and traits and trends and functions of suburb village hierarchy division at present are summarized out.The last part, relevant countermeasures and proposals are put forward, such as that of developing village's middle hierarchy and accelerating farmers' flow in-and-out.
