TPP Agreement has drawn extended attention worldwide since the beginning of its negotiations.After dozens rounds of negotiations,12 members finally signed the agreement on February 4th,2016.The whole agreement contains 30 chapters,of which the chapter of Intellectual Property Rights evoked heated discussions for its high-standard rules.This dissertation does researches on the legal issues of the rules concerning Intellectual Property Rights,emphasizing on the content and the implement of the rules,as well as the inspirations for Chinese legislation related to Intellectual Property Rights,in order to get hold of the trend of the globalization of Intellectual Property Rights' protection and bring suggestions to the development of protecting Chinese Intellectual Property Rights.In this dissertation,the author elaborates the research in three chapters.Chapter One expounds the detailed content of the IPR rules in TPP Agreement,compared with the rules in TRIPS Agreement from four aspects-trademarks and geographic indications,patent,copyright and law enforcement.Then,the author sums up the features of the IPR rules in TPP.Chapter Two analyzes the possible problems in implementing TPP Agreement by comparing the IPR rules set in TPP Agreement and the current state of legislation in the countries of TPP members.In Chapter Three,the author analyzes the referential value of the IPR rules in TPP Agreement for Chinese IPR legislation through a comparison between TPP rules and current situation of Chinese IPR protection,providing suggestions to Chinese IPR legislation in three aspects-to simplify the procedures to be more effective,to raise the standards step by step and to reach uniformity among separate IPR laws.
